Hi Everyone,
Thank you for being part of our virtual network of those who realize love has no limits.
I'm updating my music library today with new tunes for the new year, and while multitasking, it occurred to me to use this as an opportunity to get to know each other better through music.
Currently I'm listening to Diana Garden, a compilation
my favorite song on that compilation is Cool Water by Afterglow, featuring Time Passing
What are your favorite genres, artists, albums and songs?
Love,
Ayngel

Re: what is the most uplifting music you've ever heard?
Mon, January 1, 2007 - 7:51 AMJames Taylor, "up on the roof" always makes me happy. Or the Eagles, "seven bridges road". I can get lost in nearly any music though. Every genre has something to offer.

Tue, January 2, 2007 - 8:28 AMCarolyn Arrends is at the top of my list right now. She's a Christian artist. I'm not particularly fond of faith based music but her well crafted songs are truly uplifiting without being preachy.
Crooked Still is a fantastic folk quartet. I like them just for the energy.
And I've been playing Cake's version of "I Will Survive" over and over again recently....

Re: what is the most uplifting music you've ever heard?
Tue, January 2, 2007 - 10:42 AMSince I have a four year-old, I've been developing an appreciation for kids' music the past few years. I really like The Chenille Sisters, The Laurie Berkner Band, and Elmopalooza. You can't be in a bad mood listening to that music unless you're a total grinch.
Also listening to a lot of Emmylou Harris, Dead Can Dance, and Cocteau Twins lately.
